Marriage is not registered can I marry to someone else in future
    Hi

I got married 7 years back because my parents forced me but my marriage is not registered we lived together for 2 years and then 3 yrs we were not living together... but now its been 2 years I'm just trying to conveince my husband for divorce but he is not ready... my life is become hell as I don't feel anything for him... and just want to move on in my life.me and my husband both are living out of india and I don't have time to fight for all this. Just wondering if marriage is not registered am I still married? Am I allowed to go for marry someone else or do I have to get divorce from him first? Guide me

    Thanks

IF this is in the US, then yes, you are still married. In the US, it doesn't matter if he wants a divorce or not. You file for divorce and regardless of his opinion of it, it will eventually be granted.
