    Software, Microsoft Works
I purchase my computer and it was already loaded with two software one came with it preloaded Microsoft Work and the other a 60 day trail period (Microsoft Office). Since Microsoft Work came with it I use it intead of Office. Now the 60 day trail period is over now either program don't work. Don't understand when I purchase the new computer it was pre installed came with no CD. Windows Vista Home Basic. What do I do to get it to work?

Will not work as it was a 60 day trial, they want you to purchase the software.

If you reinstall the system from scratch (will lose anything you installed personally) you should be able to use the product for another 60 days.

If you purchased a laptop, the factory recovery should be on a hidden drive.

If you want to save some money try Open office. It is free and should be able to open your existing MS Works files. Link to the website follows:
