I have a steady-dripping single handle Delta faucet in an upstairs bathtub. It has a pretty good leak. How do I get to the leak to fix it and what do I need to replace?

It sounds like you have a bad cartridge or seals depends what type of faucet you have, Thanks.
John
Delta has 2 systems. The older one has ball-like cartridge with springs and washers. In case of a leak, you replace the washers and the springs. The other, newer, system has one cartridge with all seals incorporated into it. You buy and replace the whole cartridge.
Stores like Home Depot and Lowe's carry Delta replacement parts.
