Hi, I just found out that a girl I like has a granny (her mums mum) who is cousins with my granny (my dads mum). Basically would just like to know are we related?

If your grannies were first cousins, their children are second cousins to each other, and the children's children are third cousins to each other.

Yes, you two are related, distantly. No, there is nothing wrong with 3rd cousins dating. In the event you marry and have children, the gene pool has been greatly stirred up by additional people along the way. No one will frown on it.
