    Long separation
My spouse and I have been separated for almost two years - my income does not have room for any extraneous expenses. Are there resources to get an uncontested divorce without all the overwhelming legal fees? The only financial item we share is my student loan with my spouse as the co-signer... bad credit is not a help - I have a great job, with pretty good benefits, but as stated before all the income has a place to go... :)

Sorry about the situation you are in...

You are not stating where you are located... Here in California we have service called "We The People..". (... they may be a nationwide company ). They provide all documentation you need to get divorced. You do all the running around yourself. No lawyers involved. One of my employees used them few year back and his divorce cost him $ 195.00 + about $100.00 in court fees. (... this amount may differ now ). The main thing is the property division and children. If you have no children, no assets to divide, and can resolve small details with your spouse w/o legal representation on your own - than it is easy. See the link... and Good Luck !

Try this one: Divorce overview - LegalZoom.com

It was started by Robert Shappiro, the "famous" attorney from O.J.Simpson trial. See if you find what you are looking for...

    Good luck ! Milo

Depending on your state, a non contested divorce in GA for example you can get a paralegal to do the paper work for less than 300 dollars normally, as long as there are no kids.
If there are kids you have custody and support issues.

Also depending on your state there may be alimony payments ordered.
