I have an old Dynamark lawn tractor with a 36 inch mowing deck. The first time I used it this season, the deck belt fell off. I was told that the belt was stretched so I bought a new belt an inch shorter than the old belt. Now that belt keeps falling off. What are we doing wrong? How can we make it stay in place? You need to buy OEM belts for your mower to start with. You can't just compare an old belt to a new one and give it a try. Start by getting a belt number from the manual. If you have no manual this may help you. Owner's Manual | Find Product User Manuals - Managemyhome.com

The problem is that the deck is not the original one and I have no idea what it is! So how can I find a manual for it? I'm not that dumb... would have done that in the first place. I need a suggestion for not knowing what kind of deck it is!!
