    Hose spigots near sub panel
I have a subpanel in my attached garage, which is used to supply the garage only. I would like to run hot & cold water to the garage; the pipes will be connected to hose spigots. Due to framing, joists, etc. the spigots will be about even height with the panel, and about three feet to the side. The set up will be used strictly for washing my cars-outside, NOT in the garage. Just in case anyone wonders why, I have very hard well water, which leaves hard to remove water spots. The garage spigots will be plumbed to the soft water.

Is there any problem with the location of the spigots in relation to the panel from a code standpoint? I’ve researched all sections of 110.26 on panel board placement, work space, dedicated space, location of a sprinkler, etc, but found nothing as to this specific about plumbing/spigots/faucets near the panel. Could this be considered a wet location per 312.2(A), even though the panel is indoors but near the spigots? I believe I recall a previous post concerning a situation something like this, but couldn’t find it.

    Absolutely not.

There is NO restriction with regard to proximity to piping, hose bibs, or any water source.
The only restrictions are working clearances. Meaning the hose bib cannot be directly below the panel in the 30" wide working space.
