    After sex - normal?
I apologize in advance if this be a little detailed, but I'm really confused and nervous...
I'm 18 years old and had my period on May19, it lasted 4 days like normal, but the last day of my period (which was the very end of it, not much blood at all) I had sex with my boyfriend for the first time. I didn't really bleed right away, was just in a bit pain for the next day or so, which I thought would be normal as it was my first time. Then 2 days later I started spotted and my Labia area started getting itchy, the first night it was so itchy it kept me awake, so the next morning I ran to walmart and got some vagisil. It actually stung when I put it on, so I gave up, took like 2-3 showers because it would stop the itching temporarily, then fell asleep because I was so tired from the frustrating night.

I was so nervous that it could be STD or something, but after researching online, other than the itchiness and slight pain, I don't have the other symptoms like discharge. So I just left it alone and the itchiness was less and less each day, but every now and then it would feel like someone pinched my vagina. The pain that I've been talking about is actually pain that feels like sunburn... I'm thinking (and hoping) that's because when we were having sex I wasn't wet enough down there?

Anyway last week was like hell for me with the itchy and pain, but today I was almost itch free! But as I crawled into bed earlier, all of sudden I felt a little wet, like the feeling you would get the first day of your period. So I decided to go check in the bathroom, but as soon as I stood up I felt a sudden release and a blood glob the size of a finger came out with some blood. I ran to the bathroom to clean up and now I have a pad on because there's still blood coming out. It's not really that heavy but I'm really scared now, since I just had my period less than 2 weeks ago.

What could that be? Is it normal?

You don't mention if you used a condom or not?
If not then it could very well be an STD.

Another cause could be from having sex while being "dry"
If there is not enough lubrication it can also cause these symptoms as it basically chaffs your skin.

Only way to know for sure is to consult your doctor.

I've ready that yeast infections are very common in those who are new to sex, or getting back to it for the first time after awhile. A lack of lubrication can also cause some serious irritation-- next time invest in some KY and that might do the trick. I would get tested for STD's, just in case, you can never be too careful nowadays, and be sure to use a condom in the future, with any sexual partner.
