13 need easy ways to lose weight fast
I've always been big, at the time it wasn't bad. But now I'm older and all my friends are skinner than I am. I'm overweight and I need to lose about 33 pounds. I'm 5'4. I weigh 165 pounds. I should be somewhere around 133. I need major help. So please help me.

Get moving... everyday. Walking, bike riding, swimming, throw in some work with weights, join a gym, workout at home, find a friend or family member to work out with you, whatever you will keep doing... even on those days (and you will have them! ) that you don't feel like it. Start slowly but try to work up to an hour a day of some type of activity. Make it a priority... make the time to do it.

Don't forgo the foods you love, but limit how often you eat them. Have far more healthy food choices and keep the goodies for just once in awhile. Keep a journal of what you eat and see where you can make some changes. Other than perhaps a treat now and then, focus on nothing going into your body unless it has some nutritional value. Get rid of any temptations in the house if you can. Be careful of eating out of habit... while watching TV for example.

Watch your portion sizes... most people eat far more than their body really needs. Skip seconds... or thirds! Eat three meals a day and have some healthy snacks to keep your blood sugar levels even and ward off hunger.

If you mess up once in awhile, skip a couple of days of working out, or go overboard on some junk food, (and you likely will), cut yourself some slack and just get back on track.

Set small and realistic goals... 1-2 pounds a week is often touted as being a healthy weight loss goal that is doable without causing you to feel deprived.

Many people have good intentions but don't have the patience and want that quick fix. They burn out on exercise because they try to do too much too quickly, and they cut back too far on foods or go on unrealistic diets that can't be sustained... only to end up back where they started.

You want to lose fat, then eat the right foods and run/jog... get your heart rate up... walking does nothing.
