I was recently diagnosed with pancreatitis and I'm also pregnant
What are the risks for me and my baby? And I've also recently had my gull bladder removed. How will I be treated and am I safe?:confused:

Pnacreatitis is inflammation of the pancreas. Gall bladder removal really has nothing to do with pregnancy, so you have no worries there.

As far as the pancreatitis, you need to discuss this with your doctor. He is the best one to talk to about issues like this during pregnancy. Any advice you get here could be to you and/or your baby since we are not able to do a physical and do not know your history as well as your doctor.

Tell him you want straight answers. That is all you have to do. Tell him you want to do what is best for you and your baby and the only way you can do that is for him to educate you on your medical conditions.
