My boyfriend and I have never had intercourse before, in fact we are both virgins. We have tried to start before though. He has never had trouble getting an erection, but right before we would start intercourse, he loses it. Is it just nerves or a more serious problem?

Most likely, it's just nerves. Is there any reason that he is conflicted about having sex for the first time? Your ages? Complications? Breaking a moral code?

If you are clear that it's OK to have sex now (read the post by the person who regrets losing his virginity) a little creativity will bypass the problem. If either of you has any issue, figure it out before you jump in bed. It's worth the wait.
