I need to bury an electrical box, what kind do I get?
I want to connect 2 outside post lights together and have one feed to the garage. I originally ran them separately and now I have a short in one and need to rerun to 1 feed. What kind of Box can I buy? I went to local Lowe's and Home Depot and they have no idea what I am asking for. I need the name of the waterproof junction box that my Dad used to call a Buffalo Box.

    Thanks

    A small handhole is best:

    HandHole.com

Since a splice should not be buried or otherwise rendered inaccessible.

Seems Buffalo Box more is for water valves at curbs, rarely used by the electrical trade.

We call then "Grade Boxes." They are used for both water and electrical work. (Not in the same box)
