Does LCD TV emit a gas that would set off my Smoke Detectors?
Hi, I've been having a horrible issue with my smoke detectors. Every night while watching TV my Smoke detectors will go off randomly for about 1 minute. Then they will wait another 10 minutes and go off again. We don't experience this if the TV is off. We've tried to change the battery, replace the detector but nothing works. Can anyone help?

I know that those TV's put off a lot of heat. I don't own one, but when I'm at walmart and walking by them, you can feel the heat radiating off the TV wall.
I've seen excessive heat set off smoke alarms. If the TV is right under the smoke alarn (warm air rises) you might try moving the TV, or the smoke alarm.
