I have bought a bush steam generator believing it to be in working order. No steam comes out. It makes a loud noise when I press the steam button and the filter cartridge is brown. Could this be the problem ?
Help please.

I've never used one of those, but in general you should assume that the brown - and probably clogged - filter is the first thing to correct. Clean it if it's cleanable or replace it if not. It may very well be blocking the flow.
