    Friendship that varies by season
Hello, I am 14 years old,and I moved four months ago, leaving my best friend behind. We e mailed each other almost every day, but now it seems like she ignores me. I am not being rude or annoying to her, but she doesn't want to talk anymore. I knew her for two years and I noticed that when summer comes, she has so much summer fun that forgets me.
So should I still write her and get no answer, or forget her too?:(

Apparently she is having fun w/o and she does not miss you like you miss her. Find another friend that is going to treat you with respect.

Friends can be funny when you are that age.
They get caught up in the moment.
Out of sight, out of mind.

I would wait until she contacts you
And if you do send her an occasional 'whats up' don't expect a reply and don't be upset if she doesn't reply. Invite her and others to join in with things you do in the summer when possible so you are showing you made an effort to keep up the friendship.
Then see how she treats you when you go back to school.

Of course find other friends too you shouldn't be co dependent on one friend.
