Has he talked to his doctor yet to rule out any MEDICAL causes for this?

Often drug abusers and alcoholics suffer from ED after they stop the drugs. It is another side affect from abusing your body.
Have him see the doctor. Some medicines can often help him with this problem.

ED can be tied to one big problem... like complications with meds or vascular issues... or the sum of many "smaller" problems... a little performance anxiety (tied to previous problems), health issues, mental blocks, and on and on and on...

Just worrying about performance and your "leaving" (even if you aren't thinking it, he is) can kill both libido and mental release that allows for a quality erection.

So... he's been a drug user. How is his health? Is he clean? How long? Any health problems? Is he overweight? Does he exercise regularly? Does he have friends he can hang with without the drugs? Has he been depressed? Any stresses outside the bedroom? Money? Job?

As mentioned... best thing to do is start with physical issues... meaning a doctor should be involved... does he have vascular problems? High blood pressure? Other health issues? Hormone levels OK?

Does he get nocturnal erections? Men get more of these usually than they realize... but does he ever wake up at night with a steel piercing hard on? If so, that means the body is mostly OK, but he has mental blocks.

Can you "sneak" your hand onto him at night? Wake his with your fingers on him, or your lips? That unexpected stim might prove to shut out any mental blocks...

Can he get you off with oral first? Then focus "just on him" inside you? A few "wins" like this might turn the corner... its not what you want long term... but sometimes just easing the mental pressure can change things...

And honestly... two of the things that have been shown to help men with ED issues are regular exercise and dealing with mental blocks.

Exercise and overall fitness alone can do WONDERS for a persons body. It can remove illnesses that require meds. It can boost self confidence through improved self image and physical performance... if you both aren't working out together, try it.
