    Feral community.found cat tail today
I'm scared. I have about 10 cats (prev 13 and I had ten trapped and neutered-TNR).
Today I went to add another bad of garbage before they came to collect and on top of
The pile was a real cat tail. I'm scared. I have trained most of the cats to be
Friendly but they still run from strangers. I don't own the house but I provide feral
Houses inside the gate in the garden. I'm really upset... what else... I'm sure the
ASPCA or ACC is not going to travel here or investigate. It could be anyone.
    Any advice.

    Oh my goodness.
    How horrible.

If the ASPCA is unwilling to come and help the you could try calling the police.
If animal cruelty is involved they will usually intervene and actually make the ASPCA to come out and investigate.
(Well that's how it is in Australia anyway)

I hope they catch whoever did this and they have one of their legs cut off... an eye for an eye I say.

    Thanks for the agree :)
A surveilance camera would be great if you can afford it.
How can there be proof unless they investigate
If it had have been a persons limb they would have jumped all over it. Poor kitty.

On a lighter note, my mother set up a video camera while ago because one of their dogs was stealing toilet rolls while they were out and ripping them up. The bathroom door was always shut.
Turns out the dog was actually using his feet to reach up and twist the handle... smart little beggar.

Don't have any advice other than what was given. Just wanted to say that's disgusting. It amazes me what people will do. Years ago around here someone found a cat that had been completely taped up. As in, wide tape all around the entire cat including its head and it could hardly breath. Several vets volunteered to get the tape off and it took like hours and hours of patient tedious cutting. This was yucky enough to even make the news and even some cat haters thought it was horrid. Just made me wonder what the heck is wrong with people.

(And the cat sitting on my lap says he likes his tail just where it is.)

Bless you for trying to take care of so many cats and providing a place for the feral ones. Good luck on this.
