    Hi, hellicap!

You posted your thread on the thread of someone else in Introductions. Introductions is where people introduce themselves only, and we try not to ask questions there.

So, I titled and moved your question to this, more appropriate, forum topic area.

Have you heard of any programs where a person can get their GED for free? I haven't, but I suppose that there might be, if a community and/or school system might provide the monies for a person to be graduated from high school, he or she shows some promise and meets certain income requirements.

What is the community where you would like to obtain your GED, please?

    Thanks!

Well there are some programs you need to check with your welfare case worker, they have had programs that cover a lot of the cost, but still not all.

Around where I live, there is a community action agency that can help people.

Perhaps there might be a similar type of agency around the vicinity where you want to get your GED that could help you?

    Thanks!
