Romance novel set during french revolution with female version of the scarlet pimpern
I read a trilogy of romance novels set during the french revolution around 15 years ago. The heroine was like a female scarlet pimpernel and was possibly called something like Lady Caro; she is a member of the English aristocracy. She falls in love with a man who is part of the french revolution and so she is fighting against him.

I absolutely loved these books and have been trying to remember the titles or author for ages now but have not been able to and have been unable to find any clues on any search engines so I am praying that somebody knows these books and can help

I read the same books about 20 year ago, I thought the main character was called Carola Braveheart. But I can find any evidence that the book ever existed.

I don't live where I grew up other wise I would go back to the library and have a look for the books.

Hi, I have just been searching for the same set of books and got nowhere too. I tried all variations that I can think of. Did you ever find out the answer?

I think the man involved in thr french revolution might have been called Raoul?

    Ladies,

I have found them! The books are by Jeanne Montague.

The series was called "The loves of Carola Mountjoy". There are four books called,

"Dawn of Love the Power of Love"
    "Vengence is mine"
    "Brave wild heart"
    "Sword of Honour"

Published by Dragon books in 1987

    I love the internet :)
