    Bedroom poop
 I just brought home a new puppy small mix. And after a couple of days he has used the bathroom on the puppy pads. All the time no matter where he was playing upstairs. Yet the other day I had to go to work like before and I noticed he was acting rather upset he went to the corner of the room and sat there and would not come when I called him, I asked my brother and his family if any of them could stop by and check on my puppy but no one was able too. And when I returned from work he had pooped on the floor next to my bed and he has always gone on the pads that's why I leave him out in the upstairs loft and only block the stairs. Was this him telling me something. I have to work he was fine before but this time I was on for 3 days instead of 2, and he was not having it. Now he's back going on the pads again. Should I do something different or do I need to get another small puppy so he has company.

He's learned your schedule, it changed, he was confused and maybe got scared.

I agree with chihuhuamomma, if your schedule changed at all then it can have a reall effect on a puppy. They take a few months to get used to you and their surroundings after you purchase them.

Was his poop normal looking? Not soft at all? He could have a tummy upset.

Dogs do like company, they are pack animals and like having a family around them all the time.

I would seriously think before buying another puppy though...
Think twice the damage, twice the poop, twice the vet bills and twice the trouble!

If you have enough funds to care for another puppy and will give them both love and attention then it is an option.
