    Strippers on the Delaware river
    Does anyone have any suggestion for what type of bait to use.I'm fishing from shore,on the Delaware river in philly behind the airport,any ideas,thanks in advance for any feedback.:cool:

    You are talking bait not lures, right. I'm ot in your area, but find out what the local forage fish is up there - threadfin shad, maybe.
    Eel would work but in some places is illegal.

    Do you have a herring run up there and is it over yet? If there are herring abround, use cut herring.

    Catch a few eels put them on ice in a cooler .this will slow them down then when they warm up in the water on your hook the will be very active .
