How do you write a word equation into a balenced chemical equations ?
    1. Sodium sulfide reacts with lead(II)nitrate to produce sodium nitrate and solid lead (II) sulfide ?

    1. Look up the formulas for sodium sulfide, lead(II) nitrate, sodium nitrate, and lead(II) sulfide. You should be able to Google all of them.
    2. Write down the equation with the reactants on the left side of the arrow and the products on the right.
    3. Balance the equation. In this case, it's a "metathetical" (exchange) reaction - sodium and lead exchange anions - so it should be easy to balance.
