    Dry hair from chlorine pools
I swim 3 to 4 times a week, which causes my hair to become dry and corse. After swimming I use Ultra Swim shampoo and my normal conditioner (Dove
Advanced Care Therapy Conditioner, I also use this type of shampoo when showering in the morning). My hair still feels dry and corse, and I'm wondering if there is something I can use to fix this problem. On other message boards many people have said that Ultra Swim doesn't work, but for me it gets rid of the chlorine smell. What I really need is to find something to help with the dryness. I was also considering using a leave in conditioner.

Using an anti-chlorine shampoo will get the chlorine out. But, if it doesn't help, try using a clarifying shampoo. If your hair feels dry, do a deep conditioning treatment twice a week. You can also use a leave in conditioner. You might want to consider wearing a swimming cap before going swimming in the pool.
