Hi, Thanks in advance for any advise. I have a Kenmmore Limited Edition dishwasher that has a timer that gets stuck when I use the longer cycles like Pots and Pans or Normal wash. The timer goes down to about 72 minutes and then just stays there. I can use the shorter cycles (short wash) but the dishes are not getting clean enough for me.

When the timer get stuck it just keeps running and running. The only way I can get the dishes to finish is cancel that cycle and start a short one afterwards.

Any help is greatly appreciated.

I am running it now so I could give more details. I set the dishwasher for Normal Wash and it went to 76 minutes and the sensing light was on. The door for the soap was open and all the soap was gone. It sat running like this for about 10 minutes. I just canceled the cycle and it set the time to 2 minutes and draining. It has stopped draining now.
