    Hi hun,
How old is your son ?

    Hi Big Als,
    Has anything cahgned recently?
The tiniest detail can sometimes drastially alter a dogs behaviour as they can become jealous easily.
Has your son been going to friends houses more often or have you been going out?
    Any new pets?

Is your dog spayed? Sometimes that can have an effect.

For now try spraying the area where she has pooped with an enzyme based cleaner to remove any odor and residue to deter her from going there again.

It could be that she's marking her spot does she sleep in his room I had this with my cat and nothing seamed to work and I spoke to my vet and they told me get this jel its safe to anyone or any animal and it worked rite away sorry I have forgot the name but any pet shop should have it it looks like green balls and you just place some on the spot for a little bit and she will stop going in his room its something to do with the smell but you can't smell it just them and it worked for me x

Well she sleeps in the living room and there has been no alterative changes in life style and also, she was spayed over 2 years ago, but I will try the enzynes to see what will happen. Thanks to all for your tips until I find something that works I will be all ears...

    Thank you

The other thing that worked for me with my puppy was Vinegar. Once he soiled in the spot and we put down vinegar water soaked to the pad he was discouraged from going again. So What we did... may seem drastic is we ran the commercial carpet cleaner over the entire area with a water vinegar mix.

How about closing the door?:D Clean everything up real good and in a couple weeks open the door, maybe she will be out of the habit. :)

Thanks I will try the vinegar water, and see how that go, but it is my sons room and keep the door closed all the time is not an option, because he does play in there a lot but we do close the door when we leave... thank for all your responses... :D

    Thank you

    Big Al
