How can I find bank documents from 30 years ago?
There have to be archived documents somewhere detailing how much money was actually in my trust fund/college fund that was stolen from me. Is there any way or place I need to go to find out how to get these documents? The college/trust fund was in Virginia Beach, Virginia about 30 years ago. I have my father's SSN (the one who opened the account) and documents proving the trustee was my mother. How do I go about getting these documents?

Why do you think this was stolen from you? Without knowing what bank or investment managers the fund was placed with, it would be hard to find anything. And even with that info, I think it unlikely the institution would have records from 30 years ago.

    Hey, Scott

This fund was stolen from me because I did not see one dime of the money when the appointed time came. Also, my father, who started the fund and died in 1978 in a car wreck. Therefore, the one who could ask why I did not get the money was "conveniently" out of the way. My mother was the trustee. The legal mumbo jumbo for this is breach of fiduciary trustee duty.

Yes it may certainly be breach of ficuciary trust. But you need to prove it. What was the "appointed time". Why did you wait 30 years? Also, did you go to college? Did you have to pay anything out of pocket for
    College?

Did you ever ask for an accounting from your mother?
