Went to the hospital today wasn't feeling good. They did blood test and a ultrasound. My uterus has the sac for the baby but nothing is in it. They said it measures about 5wks or less and my HCG is at 1794 but going by my miss period I should be around 6 weeks. I am so confused. I don't know what to think. Am I pregnant is it a false pregnancy am I going to miscarrie? Advice would be great!

They should schedule another scan in a couple of weeks and more blood work. This early on it can be difficult to see much more than a sac so it is not too alarming that that was all they could see.

Certainly it could be an early loss, but do be sure to have a repeat scan a bit later, and they should do another check on your hcg level in the next few days to see whether the numbers are rising.
