Over the last few days I have felt my vagina becoming more and more irritated and it seems to be very red, with 1 tiny sore near the very edge. However I have been with the same steady partner for a while now, and we were both virgins when we got together, meaning this is no STI. Can someone please help me? How do I get rid of the irritation?

Remember, just because you are faithful doesn't necessarily mean your partner is.

Not only that even if the two of you are faithful, that doesn't mean that there isn't a chance of STD's. There are many different kinds, and some aren't limited to sexual activity either. You can get std's from locker rooms and towels also, so there's always a chance. I suggest you get checked out anyway, just to be safe.

As a nurse, it is the first time I have ever heard you can get STDs from locker rooms and towels. STD stands for Sexually Transmitted Disease.
