Drainage of water via PVC Pipes
I would like to know how much water would be empty from a container if the pipe is on the bottom of the container:
If the pipe was 1.0 inches in diameter
If the pipe was 1.25 inches in diameter
If the pipe was 1.50 inches in diameter
If the pipe was 1.75 inches in diameter
If the pipe was 2.0 inches in diameter
    Thanks
    Frank

    Hey Frank,
Think about it! No matter how large the discharge pipe the amount of water that would be discharged from the container could be no greater then the amount in the container.
I think I know what you're asking. Are you asking the flow rate for each sized pipe? If so head pressure enters into the equation. Different head pressure = different flow rates. Ands why do you want to know anyhow? Tom
