Are you asking about the "home page", or are you talking about a search engine, or are you talking about the browser, itself?
You say you always get "Google". Get it means what? (be specific). Is Internet Explorer going to the Google page or are you launching Chrome (Google's browser) or something like that?
Just for reference, what version of Internet Explorer are you using, and what is your operating system (XP, Vista)?
Hi MArtin,
If you wish to have a different home page than Google,
Go to the bookmarks/favourites and click on the search engine that you want...
Maybe it is Yahoo or some other site...
Once you are on the search engine page that you want...
Go the box to the left of the text showing the URL http// etc
Click and hold the box and drag it to the little picture of the House and then release the button.
You have successfully changed your homepage...
Next time you boot up, that is where you will end up
