    Moving my toilet
I'm about to start my bathroom remodel. I'm putting in a new vanity cabinet and was hoping that there was a reasonable way to shift the toilet over about 4 inches from its current location to give a little more room between the new cabinet and the toilet. I'm planning on replacing the current tile floor but wasn't sure how much other floor work would be required should I attempt moving the toilet. I did read another post on this site about an "offset flange" but I don't know much at all about plumbing and have know idea what this item is or what putting it in would entail. Should I bother? Thanks

Off-Set Closet Ring will move your present toilet inlet ring about 1 1/2" to one side. If you want to go 4" - than you will have to use different approach.

First: are you on slab or raised foundation ? Do you have Cast Iron drains or Plastic ( PVC or ABS ) ?

Please, response before we can answer. Thank you. Milo
