    Am I pregnant?
:) hello! I'm new to this, lol. Well I've been having sex pretty much everyday, and didn't start my period on the date I was suppose to which is at the beginning of the month... 1st-5th around that time, but I ended up starting on the 18th. The first day I spotted off and on but now its regular. I did take a pregnancy test Friday and it tested negative. Could it be possible that I could be pregnant??

Highly unlikely given that you've had a period.

You can always go to your doctor if it'd make you feel better.

Deshelle, not sure of your age but this person was asking a serious question. "laying off the sex" is not helpful if she thinks she could already be pregnant.

I'd say go to the dr.. With my first pregnancy I didn't even know I was pregnant.. I had a period monthly, just it was super light and only lasted about 2 days.. didn't think anything of it.

Actually if she is bleeding she's probably not pregnant, but if she is pregnant she shouldn't have sex. I had a threatened miscarriage and bled at around 4 months... couldn't have sex or lots of physical activity. Fortunately I know have a beautiful 9 month old girl. :)

I stated in my first post that it's sounds unlikely that the OP is pregnant but suggested seeing a physician to be sure.

Sorry Ahancock I disagree with saying "if she's pregnant she shouldn't have sex". Unless specifically advised by a dr (and in your circumstances it was understandable) but it is usually OK to continue to have sex up until delivery as long as the mother-to-be is comfortable enough to do so.

I agree with you that sex is fine with pregnancy, but I was saying that if she is bleeding during pregnancy then she shouldn't have sex. Obviously this doesn't have much to do with the original question of whether she is pregnant though, which it sounds like a "no" to me. Probably just got the period late.
I wasn't trying to be confrontational, just defending what I though was a reasonable response from personal experience.
