Children movie search--80s or older.
This has been driving me nuts! It was a movie that I used to love when I was a kid. I was born in 82. So I figure the newest the movie could be would be late 80s.
The only scene I remember was toward the end.
These giant plant pods were opening and these round soft fluffy seeds were escaping up into the air. The seeds were important and they were floating away. This was distressing to one of the characters. I think she had wings. She was trying to hold one of the pods closed, but the seeds still pushed past her. There was no sound as the last one faded from view.
I think there was another person present. It might have been partially his fault. Or something.
I tried to find this last year and one of the search ideas was Ferngully. It is NOT that one. This was more of a darker type animated movie--think in the vein of Watership Down.
