The movie is about a family of Giant Praying Mantises (from I want to say S America) and decide to go to the US and live the "American Dream".

Apparently they had the ability to look like humans.

Only they show up and try to live the lives like the people from the 50's not the like the people from the 80's or 90's did

However the "wholesome family" becomes corrupted and riddled with averice. The son becomes a lost cause. The daughter gets pregnant. That Mother and Father find some vices.

I remember the scene specifically where the daughter just plops out a baby praying mantis in a sac of goo... it's not something a person can forget lol

In the end the family decides to move back to S. America



If anyone can tell me the name of this wicked bizarre yet oh so awesome Sci-fi movie I'd really appreciate it!
