So a little background... I recently broke up with my long time girlfriend of 4.5 years but the breakup was a long train running. I go to college with a girl to guy ratio of 3:1. Anyway There is a girl in my class whom I've met only a few months ago but she laughs at my jokes in class, and is one of the few people to talk to me, we both acknowledge each other in the halls, and comments on my Facebook account. I find that we have a good amount in common. The major problem is that I'm pretty overweight and she is just plain pretty. I am a little insecure about my weight and I currently am working on losing weight. I think about her everyday, I doubt she thinks of me that much. How do I know if she is just wants to be friends or if she is flirting. It sucks cause now its summer and I don't see her at all. She is single but I am afraid she would be called for. What can I do to score a date or something with her? And honestly what are my chances?

We will say all the same thing... You won't know unless you make a move. Ask her out and tell for you to find out.

Ask her, and if she says no, ask another one, and if she says no, ask another one. When you have used up your allotment, take someone else's.
