Illegal alien in the united states for 12 years if can study in canada
I am 17 years old and I'm going to graduate this year and I have been an illegal resident in Florida for 12 years since I came to Florida when I was 6 years old. So I wanted to know if there was a possibility for me to study in Canada and for the Canadian government to help me pay for college or university.

I don't know if you are required to prove legal residence in the country you currently live in to apply for a student visa in Canada.

I can confirm that you WILL NOT receive any kind of government assistance from the Canadian government to pay for school, in fact they are going to ask you to prove you have enough money in the bank to pay for tuition, books, airplane tickets (into and out of Canada) and living expenses during your studies before they will give you a visa.

The first step is to apply to a Canadian college / university and if the school accepts you you can apply for a visa, the school may even help you apply for the visa once they accept you.
