Do anyone know how to get into Real Estate Appraisal work once you're certified? I'm considering changing careers, but want to find out more about how difficult it is to get into a job in this career before I spend $1000 certifying myself.

It would help to know the state or location where you would want to be certified in order to address your question the best.

As far as getting jobs, a few things to do, would be to have your information as what you have to offer so that you can give that to the potential clients.

I would think that you could visit realtors and landlords to whom you could give your information. Also, making a simple website isn't hard. There are many places that offer free ones. There are also many sites where you can advertise for free.

That's how I get most of my business, is from the ads that I've placed on the Internet.
