Kids On Hunger Strike-Made For TV? 70's?
Saw this on TV back in the seventies or very early eighties. Probably made-for-tv fare, it was a drama about a blended family, the mom has remarried or is engaged to a foreign-type fellow (Italian? French?). The kids are opposed to the match and most of them decide to go on a hunger strike in order to separate the pair. But the man's older precocious daughter bribes the eldest son to bring her hot dogs in exchange for different kinds of kisses. The kids win out and the grown-ups split up. Think they were staying at some gorgeous seaside villa. Have done extensive plot searches to no avail, so message boards are last resort. Thanks so much.

I have figured out the answer to my own question. This is a 1965 movie with Maureen O'Hara and Olivia Hussy, The Battle of the Villa Fiorita AKA The Affair at the Villa Fiorita. Thanks to you all anyway, but got to thinking that the Italian bloke's daughter was an Olivia-Hussy-type and bingo! I will be able to sleep at night now.
