    Employment benefits
In California, will I be entitled to employment benefits if I quit but not my own fault? I love my job but I just can't tolerate the workplace.

Just because you don't like the workplace is not a justifiable reason to quit. If that were the case, everyone would quit their job and try and collect unemployment. If you quit you will not be eligible for unemployment benefits.

    Hello j:

My friends are right... However, if it can be shown that your workplace was inhospitable or disruptive to the degree that you were forced to quit, you MAY get approved.

Exy, I think that only applies to workplaces that are unsafe, not nasty to the employees or if the employer wanted you to do something that was not your job and that is hazardous and you were not trained to do this hazardous task.
