    Bladder trouble?
I have a Goulds HydroPro V60. It is at 30psi full (zero empty). My pump comes on every 6 seconds when the water is running. When the pump comes on I can hear hissing inside the tank, and after I drained it and filled it and tested the pressure again some water sprayed out of the air valve... does that mean the bladder is done? I did pressure up the pump to match the tank and it comes on less frequently, but still every 23 seconds whle the water is running.

The reason your pump runs and you get water out of the bladder tank snifter valve is that the membrane in the tank has ruptured.
The solution would be to replace the bladder tank. Good luck, Tom

Thank you Speedball, that's what I thought... I'll replace the tank.
