    Calculating work done
How do you calculate work from a word problem when you are only given mass, distance traveled and time it took for this distance to be traveled?

    You have to remember that

Force is also weight, given by, F=ma or W=mg, both are correct and will give you the same answer. (a = g = 10m/s^-2 {or 9.81 if you need more significant figures})

You're also given time here, which is not necessary to find the work. With that time, you can however, find the power, given by

Power = Work Done / Time

    Hope it helped! :)
