Help.
My computer will not start past windows icon it shows that it is loading but never finishes, I opened it in safe mode and the control panel shows 2% usage but it runs slow and the light for the hard drive looks like it is running in the background , no programs are running, I tried spybot it found nothing, it won't open norton or the control panel which just keeps looking to populate but the flash light just keeps moving.

System could be infected still.

To see all that starts up go to START>RUN> type MSCONFIG and look at the startup tab.
All checked boxes start with Windows.

You could also try START>RUN> type services.msc

Use both with caution.
