Do I have to pay ac company 95.00 for disposal of coil he states itts a law from the epa in fl that he has to do and that he can not leave it for me to do or he will lose his license for it:mad:

I for one have never heard of this law,, call other HVAC company`s and ask them,, I know I would not pay such a fee,, its your property you own it,
Call the local EPA office to know for sure

There is a fee for disposing for freon, not the coil. Anyone with a recovery machine and a license can suck the freon out of your coil and give you a slip of paper and then you can sell it for scrap metal.

Now I am not sure what people in your area are charging for this service but I am sure it is not free.
