Why does the Bay of Fundy between Nova Scotia and New Brunswick have a tidal bore and a tidal range of over 15 meters (50 feet) while Chesapeake Bay has no bore and much lower tides?

Well for one thing the difference between high and low tide is much, much greater in the Bay of Fundy than in the Cheseapeake.
Also I believe the Bay of Fundy is much narrower than the Cheseapeke - tending to channel the flow of water.
