OK so I am on the monthly birth control shot, and on may 14th I had sex with my boyfriend of 2 yrs and he finished in me (I have been on the shot since dec of last yr), I have had my periods since then but I am still worried about a pregnancy. I don't know if it is just my mind playing tricks on me and the stress. What are my possibilities of being pregnant? I will take a hpt but I want to wait till my bleeding is over. I have heard of women who are pregnant and still bleeding like in a normal period that's why I am curious. Thanks for your time!:confused:

It can happen, but it is not common that you will become pregnant if you are having the injection as directed and since you appear to be having regular cycles, that is also a likely sign that you are not pregnant. You can certainly try a test to ease your mind.
