Lawn chief 600 14h twin II briggs
The safety switch for the seat on my tractor went bad and I want to know how I can bypass this safety switch. But the main problem is that the engine will turn over but will not run, it has good compression, getting good blue spark on both plugs, and is getting fuel. So if anyone can give me any clue to this problem it would be greatly appreciated. Thank you very much.

If you are getting a blue spark at the plug your safety switch is not the cause of the engine not starting. The safety switch would short the power from the coil. I am just speculating but it may be something other than a bad safety switch that stopped your engine to start with. Tell us more about how you knew you had a bad switch and how the tractor was running just prior to this issue.

Well to begin with the tractor was running just fine and one day we just could not get it to start, there was no spark or anything other than it turning over. So my father bypassed the safety switch and we were getting spark after that it would fire but would not stay running. I hope this help's you understand a little more cause I am at a loss with this. Thank you.
