I need to know how to wire a 7 wire heat pump up to a 5 wire hunter therm

I believe you will need a 7 wire thermostat or at least a two stage heat thermostat BUT post the exact model number of the thermostat so we can check.

If you have a electric furnace you will need a differect stat. 2 heat 1 cool stat
