The wiring I just gave you should work fine. The only one I am not 100% positive is the brown wire you have on t now. Can you look down stairs at your blower and see what the brown is hooked to?

I don't want to mess this up,I have already blown a fuse and I am not clear on what you are telling me,like where e,l,c goes to.could you respond stating each letter, and what color wire to hook up to it.I can go under the house and try to see what brown is hooked to if needed.thanks for your time

    Black goes on L
    Blue on C
And e is emergency heat, that will probably be your brown wire.

Hooked it up and air worked fine.switched to heat and it worked fine, seems to.switched to emergency heat and it kept running.switched back to regular heat while it was running and it blew the 5 amp fuse under house.instructions said may have to put a jumper between e and aux if it has no relay.think that might fix that,or did I just switch heat too quickly.had also posted about wiring thermostat on fixya.com,and someone wrote that this thermostat would not work for this unit, but I bought the 2 heat/1 cool, not the one heat one cool, and I bought from trane dealer<salesperson>what do you think, you got me this far,and I really appreciate it.

We still need to know what the bron wire is hooked to under the house to make sure it is wired right.

I looked under the house where wires coming in at blower, and color brown was wired together going to outside unit.it is hooked to the small circuit board on outside unit, and the terminal on board is marked t1.also,don't know if it matters, there is a small 24 volt, some type of solenoid on outside unit, and at the time I checked for wire it was making a slight humming noise.may be normal,I don't know.just thought I would ask.would like to be done wiyh this, thanks again

This brown wire probably needs to be on aux insteed of white. But with out the wiring diagram from your units I can not say for sure. But I am still trying to figure out what blew the fuse this time. Have the brown on e should not have blown it.

Brown is not used, and black goes to e,to let you know
