    Default indent settings
My word 2003's default setting is right aligned. I'm not able to change it. So my mails are also right indented. So I'm facing difficulty in sending mails and repliers also face this. So help me how to change the default indent setting of word 2003.?.

At the top of your Word, there is probably a series of icons as shown in the attached figure. Click the icon that's "selected" in the figure. It will make the text left justified only and not right-and-left justified.

If that icon is not visible, click VIEW | TOOLBARS | FORMATTING and it will appear.

If you want to change the default make note of the style name for the default paragraph. Usually this is called Normal or Body Text. Then go into formatting Styles and change that default format. Then make sure its saved to Normal.DOT
