    My Taco Bell Romance
A few people expressed interest in how I met my husband so instead of stealing another persons question I thought I would post it here :)

Lets see. About 3 years ago, I was working at a gas station here in phoenix. I worked the overnight shift from 10pm-6am.

every single night I went through the taco bell drive through for dinner before work. It was just so conveint. A 89c burrito and it was RIGHT ACROSS THE STREET!

my now husband issac worked the drive through. And he was GOOD at it. Just to watch him work the computer screen you would think he was just hitting it randomly lol.

when I first saw him, my mouth dropped. HE JUST LOOKED SO DAMN FUNNY!! Really dorky!! (didnt expect me to say that did you?) he is mildly mentally retarded, (we joke about it all the time so its OK lol) and he had just the DORKIEST smile. His whole mouth opened and it was a little crooked lol. And he has a big chip in his front tooth that is very noticeable (which has been fixed now. He never thought to get it fixed. I told him he should lol)

I honestly thought he was just too dorky and funny looking lol. So I didn't think much of it. Cept I saw him every night I worked. He MEMORIEZED my order! He could see my van pull up and automattically put the order in and say 'its all done come forward' and then I get up to the window and he started PAYING FOR IT!!

then he started asking for my number.

for 2 weeks he asked for my number every night. Lol. I am not very attractive. I'm overweight and I have bad acne, and my hair is fairly frizzy and does NOTHING for me. So I figured he had a bet wth his friends (maybe he said 'i bet you 10 bucks I can get that fat chicks number) so I gave in to shut him up.

surprise he calls me on his next day off and takes me out to dinner. At TACO BELL!! ACK lol.

we dated for a year. And we are now happily married 2 years :) I still think he is dorky and funny looking, but I think it with love now :D hehe.

Don't downplay yourself too much. I am glad you found love at Taco Bell.

When I met my fiancé I walked up to him and said your going be with me and he said Okay. It didn't exactly happen that way but I did approach him and asked him for his number. The rest is history.

I'm trying to think of some good story's about meeting people and I can't really come up with any.

My ex walked up to me when I was a bartender and introduced herself by saying, "do you have a girlfriend?" My response was no and she said, "do you want one?" We dated for one miserable year. That's about the best I got.

    That's so sad Chuff.

The best place to meet someone is in the grocery store, then you can check out what they purchase, and whether you two will mesh.

Never date someone that buys super deluxe tampons or extra small condoms.

    That's my advice to you.

jenniepepsi, that is a great story. Thanks for sharing.

I think meeting a guy at work is good. It worked out for me. Not for break ups but if you work with him you get to see a whole lot of the real person. My husband and I worked together for about a year. Then I asked him out. The girls in the office thought I was off my rocker... But I had seen him working sick, stressed out and angry, and handling it calmly; knew he was a good one.

That was a great story. Life is funny and unpredictable isn't it? I still plan on meeting my true love... (Megan Fox), however I don't get to run around Hollywood very much.

    Good for you!
